What is vaping?
Vaping refers to inhaling a vapour from an e-cigarette (electronic cigarettes) and is a less harmful way to consume nicotine compared to smoking cigarettes. When heated, the e-liquid inside the e-cigarette turns into vapour, which is then inhaled. This is similar to how water is turned into steam when it is boiled in a kettle.
What is the difference between vapes and e-cigarettes?
The first are Pod devices. Like the MESH, these have a battery and a self-contained e-liquid pod or cartridge. The second are ‘tank’ devices. These contain a ‘tank’ that you can refill with different flavours.
Is vaping safe?
Vaping is not risk-free and while the long-term effects of vaping are still unknown, there is a wide consensus in scientific research that vaping is a better alternative for smokers.
If you’re considering switching from cigarettes to vaping, you should use regulated devices and seek professional advice.
Can vaping help me to quit smoking?
No, vaping products are not the therapeutic products to help you quit smoking. While vaping products are being used worldwide by smokers to help support them to quit smoking, they are by no means cessation aids. However, vaping products are a less harmful way for smokers to consume nicotine. If you want advice on how to use your vaping device to help you quit smoking, then speak with your doctor or local stop-smoking service.
What is the difference between MESH vape and regular coil products?
Unlike the wick-and-coil system widely used in e-cigarettes, MESH contains a mesh heater that is in constant contact with the e-liquid. This means the liquid is always being heated to deliver a consistent vaping experience. Its smart digital control detects when liquid levels are low – which helps avoid overheated liquid that can give you a ‘burnt taste’. The pre-filled, pre-sealed VEEV™ pods contain pharmaceutical-grade nicotine for purity.
Who can use vapes?
Only smokers over the age of 18 that are looking for a better alternative to smoking cigarettes should be vaping. If you’re not a smoker, you shouldn’t be vaping and should try to quit nicotine use altogether.
Can you use vapes or e-cigarettes in an airplane?
Most airlines treat vaping in the same way as smoking when on a plane and prohibit their use when flying. Like most places, airports also ban vapes inside their terminals. Airlines also have their own policies on using or carrying vapes on board so you must check with them before flying.
Is vaping like smoking?
Vaping is a similar experience to smoking as it delivers nicotine by inhaling vapour. The main difference is that unlike a cigarette, vaping doesn’t involve burning anything, greatly reducing your exposure to potentially harmful chemicals contained in smoke.
What is in vape juice or e-liquid?
E-liquid is made using various combinations of Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, and flavourings. Nicotine is added for nicotine-containing vapes to make difference strengths of e-liquid.
Are e-cigarettes bad for you?
E-cigarette technology has not been around long enough to fully evaluate any long-term effects linked to vaping. However there is enough scientific evidence to show that is it significantly better for your health than continuing to smoke cigarettes.
The best option for smokers is to quit altogether, and if you don’t smoke you shouldn’t start vaping. For those who do smoke, vaping is a much better alternative.
Is there a danger of passive smoking using vapes?
The harmful effects of smoking on you and those around you are well understood. Unlike smoking, vaping doesn’t involve combustion, burning or the production of smoke, which means significanty less exposure to harmful chemicals for yourself and others.
Can you quit smoking using vapes?
E-cigarettes and vapes have been found to be twice as effective at helping smokers to quit cigarettes compared with nicotine replacement therapy. A study funded by Cancer Research UK found that as use of e-cigarettes in quit attempts went up from 2011 onwards, so did the success rate of quitting. Another study by the New England Journal of Medicine showed that e-cigarettes were more effective for smoking cessation than nicotine-replacement therapy when both products were accompanied by behavioural support.
What about the lung injury outbreak in the USA?
In 2019 a large number of lung injuries were reported in the USA that were initially thought to be caused by vaping. However, US authorities later identified the injuries were being caused by people vaping on bootleg cannabis vaping products containing a vitamin-e acetate thickening agent.

Regardless, vitamin-e acetate is not used in any Philip Morris smoke-free products.
How to turn OFF the device?
You can switch OFF your VEEV™ device in two ways:
Manually: press the button for 1 second until the device vibrates and lights turn OFF.
Automatically: if VEEV™ device is unused for 3 minutes, it will automatically turn OFF.
How to change the VEEV™ pod?
You can change the VEEV™ pod at any time, and you don’t need to turn OFF your device before removing the VEEV™ pod.
When you insert it, a pulsing light might appear to indicate that the pod is initializing. It is ready to use when the light stops pulsing.
When your pod is almost empty, your device will detect it automatically and indicate this to you with a blinking upper white light before turning off. This is designed to prevent overheating and a burnt taste. Replace the VEEV™ pod when this happens.
Press the button for 1 second after inserting the VEEV™ pod to start vaping.
How to check the charge level of the battery?
You can easily check the charge level of the device when you turn it ON. The LEDs on the side of the device will indicate the current battery level.
When the battery is empty, the lower white light will blink for a few seconds before turning OFF
How to charge the device?
It takes less than 30 minutes to fully charge your VEEV™ from an electrical outlet when using the ™ AC power adaptor.
The device will vibrate when it is connected, and the white breathing LED will indicate that charging is in progress.
When the device is fully charged, the LEDs light will briefly switch ON and fade out.
Only charge VEEV™ using the ™ AC power adaptor and USB cable.
Note: it is possible to vape while charging.
What is the battery charge duration of VEEV™ device?
A VEEV™ full charge lasts for a whole day*.
It takes less than 30 minutes to fully charge your VEEV™ from an electrical outlet when using the ™ AC power adaptor (sold separately).
* based on average of 145 puffs/day. Individual vaping patterns may vary.
What is the responsive draw feature?
The responsive draw is a unique feature that enhances the sensorial experience through the subtle vibration on your lips while you puff. The vibration reflects the strength and the duration of your draw.
You can activate or deactivate it to fit your individual preferences, or even personalize this vibration using the app.
To turn ON/OFF this feature, quickly press on the button while taking a puff.
What is cloud size feature?
The cloud size feature enables to choose between two vape cloud sizes (amount of generated vapour): regular or reduced.
You can change the cloud size only through the app.
Can I remove my VEEV™ pod while the device is ON?
Yes. You can easily change the pod at any time and on the go. What’s more, there is no flavour aftertaste from one pod to another.
VEEV™ will automatically switch OFF when the VEEV™ pod is removed. You don’t need to turn OFF your VEEV™ device beforehand.
If you wait more than 3 minutes to insert the VEEV™ pod, your VEEV™ device will automatically switch off to save battery. You will need to press the button for 1 second after inserting the VEEV™ pod to start vaping.
How to clean VEEV™ device?
Use a dry cloth to clean the mouth end of the pod and the points where the VEEV™ and pod are in contact with one another.
Introduce the corner of a tissue inside the pod slot (mouth end) to clean for any e-liquid droplet.
Use only dry cloth or tissue to clean your device.
Why can’t I start the experience?
If you have issues starting the device, there might be several reasons:
• The device is not charged
• You might have forgotten to remove the seal tab from the VEEV™ pod
• You press & hold the button during vaping
• There is no liquid left in the VEEV™ pod
• Device malfunction
• VEEV™ pod leaks
If your device is not starting, please, check the following:
1. Charge your device with the AC power adaptor.
2. Ensure you have removed the seal tab from the pod and re-insert it
3. To start the experience, press the button only once and do not hold the button while vaping.
4. Ensure the VEEV™ pod has e-liquid in it. If not, replace with a new pod.
5. Check if VEEV™ pod is fully clipped. Detach and re-insert it again.
6. In case the pod leaks, thoroughly clean the connector areas of the device and the pod before inserting it back to the device. Then, introduce a corner of a tissue in the pod slot (mouth end) to clean for e-liquid droplet that may collect there.
7. Reset your device by pressing the button for 10 seconds.
How to best puff with VEEV™?
We advise you to take smooth puffs with normal drawing pressure to ensure the best vaping experience with VEEV™.
Please, be mindful that the intense vaping can draw e-liquid out from the reservoir, which may result in the e-liquid leakage.
Do not use this product if the VEEV™ pod appears to be leaking. In case of contact with leaking e-liquid from VEEV™ pod, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water.
Do VEEV™ pods contain nicotine?
Yes they do. VEEV™ pods contain nicotine, which is addictive.
Each flavour is available in 18 mg/ml (1.6%) nicotine level.
E-liquids used in VEEV™ contain pharmaceutical-grade nicotine.

How long does the VEEV™ pod last?
This depends on how often you decide to use your VEEV™.
One 1.5ml VEEV™ pod lasts more than 2 days*, and has an average of 400 puffs*
*based on average of 145 puffs/day. Individual patterns may vary.
Can I refill the VEEV™ pods with other e-liquids?
No you cannot. Only use VEEV™ pods with VEEV™ device.
Please, ensure not to modify or attempt to refill VEEV™ pods in any way or add any substance to VEEV™ pods. Doing so may cause injury.

Do I have to replace any parts in the VEEV™ pods?
There are no parts that need to be replaced in the VEEV™ pods. Once your VEEV™ pod is empty, simply replace it with a new one.
Each VEEV™ pod contains a new VEEV MESH™ heater inside and a new mouth piece for the hygienic purposes.
For your safety, VEEV™ pods are designed to prevent tampering to ensure that e-liquid cannot be altered.
Where can I check the nicotine level of the product?
The nicotine strength is indicated on the packaging box and on each VEEV™ pod.
What is the VEEV™ app?
VEEV™ app is the application for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products that enables to customize the interactions with VEEV™ device and provides connected support services.
Among others, it enables to personalize the experience with VEEV™ device with such features as:

What is the VEEV™ web app?
The VEEV app is available for Android smartphones. If you have a telephone that runs iOS, you can access the VEEV app through the VEEV web app.
Here are the simple steps to follow:
• Open the App Store and download the Bluetooth browser Bluefy
• From veev-vape.com, download the Bluetooth browser in the App store
• Copy the URL with the copy button
• Open a new page on the search engine of your browser and paste the URL
• You are now able to log into the VEEV web app with your VEEV account credentials
How to log-in to the VEEV™ app?
If you log-in for the first time, you would first need to create your account on veev-vape.com website.
Once done, open the application on your mobile phone and select your country and language. Use your user name and password from VEEV™ website to log-in to the VEEV™ app.
Follow the steps in the application to complete the process, and, please, ensure that your veev-vape.com account and your app are registered in the same country*.
* To change your country, please uninstall and reinstall the application.
Can I register my device in the VEEV™ app?
Yes you can, provided that you have already created your account.*
If your device is not registered yet, once paired with the VEEV™ app, it will be automatically registered under your account.
The app displays VEEV™ devices that are registered in your account even if they were not previously paired with the app.
If you have signed out of your current app to change the country or have re-installed the app on a new device, enable the connection between your VEEV™ device and the VEEV™ app using Bluetooth© wireless technology, and pair your devices again.
* The account cannot be created directly in the VEEV™ app. Please, go to veev-vape.com to create your account.
Do I always need internet connection to use the VEEV™ app?
Internet connection is required to ensure the following features or sections are up to date and accurate:
• Log in / launch the app for the first time
• My account
• Terms of Use
• Privacy Notice
• Registering devices
• Some online photo or video content
Features that are not included in the above list do not require internet access, e.g. FAQs.
Can the VEEV™ app tell me what’s wrong with my device?

VEEV™ app may alert you when there is a problem with your VEEV™ device by sending the notifications. Depending on the nature of the issue, the desktop app will suggest troubleshooting steps such as:
• Resetting your device
• Replacing the pod
• In case of a problem, follow the on-screen instructions
Will Bluetooth drain my mobile battery?
The impact on the battery is immaterial. We use energy efficient Bluetooth® 4.0 technology.

What are the main features of the VEEV™ app for VEEV™ device?
With VEEV™ device, you will have access to the following features:
RESPONSIVE DRAW - is a proprietary feature that enhances the sensorial experience through the subtle vibration on your lips while you puff. The vibration reflects the strength and the duration of your draw.
You can activate / deactivate this feature either by quickly pressing the button during the draw or through the VEEV™ app.
VAPE CLOUD SIZE - enables to choose between two vape cloud sizes (amount of generated vapor): regular or reduced. Note that you can activate this feature only through VEEV™ app.
ILLUMINATION MODE - enables to change the brightness of the device LED lights from 100 % to 50%.
What is Auto-diagnostic tool?
When a device error or malfunction is detected, the app informs and guides you through the trouble-shooting process to resolve it on the spot.
If the error is non critical:
A non-critical error is a minor condition that makes your device stop functioning correctly. For example: the device is out the temperature range.
Depending on the minor condition, follow the instructions for using the VEEV device or contact our customer support to continue using the device. The device replacement is not needed.
If the error is critical:
In case of the critical error, follow the step-by-step guidance to solve the problem.
If a problem is solved with the troubleshooting steps proposed by the VEEV™ app, a successful resolution notification will be displayed, and you will be able to use the device as before.

How do I lock and unlock my VEEV™ device?
Through the VEEV™ app, you can lock your VEEV™ device to prevent others from accessing it. You can unlock it using the VEEV™ app any time.
Tap ‘LOCK/UNLOCK’ in the top-right corner of the screen.
Note, the device will not lock itself automatically after each use. You will need to enable this manually.
What do I do if I can’t unlock my VEEV™ device?
In case you face difficulties unlocking your VEEV™ device, please, ensure your device is paired to the application via Bluetooth connection. You can check this in the ‘Devices’ section.
If the app shows ‘Device Connected’, find the ‘UNLOCK’ button (top right of screen).
If the app shows ‘Device Not Connected’, it means your device is not paired to the application. Please, first pair it.
Why should I pair my VEEV™ device?
Pairing your VEEV™ device enables to:
• adjust settings to personalize your VEEV™ experience
• ensure device functionality in case of minor malfunctions
• receive support when and where needed
• view individual device usage
You can pair more than one VEEV™ device with the VEEV™ app.
If you have not yet registered the device, you can do so while pairing. The device will be automatically registered to your account.
How do I know if my VEEV™ device is paired with the VEEV™ app?
If your device is connected, the app will indicate ‘Device Connected’.
If your device has already been paired, it will appear in the carousel of all your devices in the ‘Devices’ tab.
To see if a previously paired device is currently connected, go to the DEVICE tab and navigate to the device you want to check by scrolling left or right.
In case of pairing errors, the corresponding message is displayed.
How do I pair my VEEV™ device?
To enable device Bluetooth connectivity, press the device button three times to activate (or de-activate) the functionality.
In the app: allow to access the device’s location.
Navigate to the ‘Devices’ tab and tap on the “ADD NEW” button if you pair the device for the first time. Then, follow the instructions on the screen.
If the device has already been paired just select “PAIR”.
Can I pair more than one VEEV™ to the VEEV™ app?
Yes, you can pair all your Bluetooth® enabled VEEV™ devices to the VEEV™ app.
How do I unpair my VEEV™ device from the VEEV™ app?
In the app: Go to the DEVICES tab and scroll to the bottom.
Tap on the ‘Unpair device’ button.
Please note that unpairing a device removes the Bluetooth connectivity link between the device and the app. However your device remains registered in your account.
You can pair it again at any time.
How do I enable and disable the Bluetooth on my VEEV™ devices?
Press the device button three times and the blue light will appear once enabled. The device automatically reconnects to the app when it is turned on.
You can also enter the pairing mode directly from the App if the Bluetooth on device is turned on.
Why does my VEEV™ device lose connectivity to the VEEV™ app?
Your device may lose Bluetooth connectivity with your mobile phone when:
• VEEV™ device is out of range from the phone
• VEEV™ device is turned off or out of battery
• Bluetooth connectivity on the mobile phone is turned off
• Bluetooth connectivity on the device is turned off
• After the app update
Please note that VEEV™ devices will not reconnect automatically. VEEV™ devices will let the app connect to them after it is turned on.
