VEEV devices and pods you no longer use

If you have VEEV devices or pods that you no longer use, You can deliver them to IQOS stores and tobacconists equipped with containers for such waste collection, so that they can be sent to treatment facilities for recovery.

Find the store closest to you participating in the initiative

You can drop off VEEV devices and pods that you no longer use at the point of sale by contacting the sales staff to place them in the appropriate collection containers.

How is waste from VEEV devices and pods delivered to stores equipped with collection bins handled?

VEEV devices

VEEV devices are collected through the dedicated Philip Morris stream, as part of the REC project.

You can bring your unused VEEV devices to participating stores.

02.

The sales staff puts them in the Philip Morris container.

03.

Waste VEEV devices are transported to an authorized facility for the treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

04.

Waste from VEEV devices is processed to recover materials, such as plastics and metals.

VEEV Pods

VEEV pod waste is collected through the T-Collect stream, along with other e-cigarette waste.
VEEV pods cannot be included in the dedicated Philip Morris stream under the REC project.

You can bring your unused VEEV pods to participating T-Collect stores to be placed in the appropriate container.

02.

The collected waste is transported to facilities authorized to treat Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

03.

The authorized facility will carry out the recovery operations.
