Why age verification?

VEEV is a product intended only for adults who smoke and/or use nicotine products. Minors must not access or use tobacco or nicotine-containing products. 3. Remain still for verification

Once your face is correctly positioned, remain still for a few seconds.

  • If a button appears, tap it to proceed.
  • Alternatively, the system will proceed automatically. Remaining still will ensure more accurate recognition.

Verification via trusted external database check

1. Enter your details

We ask you to enter/confirm some personal information required to verify your age via a check on a trusted external database. Enter correct and complete details to avoid errors.

The First name, Last name and Date of birth information in your profile will already appear pre-filled.

Additional information collected will not be saved to your profile, but will only be used for age verification.

2. Receive the outcome

In a few seconds you will know whether the verification was successful.

This process takes place in real time; no biometric features or images are saved in any way, nor are they associated with your VEEV profile, and no identification is performed.

How do I complete age verification via trusted external database check?

We ask you to enter/confirm some personal information required to verify your age on a trusted external database (CRIF). The First name, Last name and Date of birth information in your profile will already appear pre-filled. Additional information collected will not be saved to your profile, but will only be used for age verification.

How many attempts do I have?

You have up to 3 attempts for each verification method to complete verification successfully. If you are unable to succeed, you can contact our Customer Service Center at 800 226 042.

What should I do if I fail all available attempts?

How do I take the photo correctly for age verification via facial analysis?

  • Choose a well-lit area.
  • Remove head coverings (if you wear glasses, you may keep them on).
  • Align your face with the on-screen frame and remain still until the capture is complete.

If I use camera age verification, how is my personal data processed?

The process is quick and secure. It takes place in real time through a qualified and trusted provider selected also on the basis of guarantees regarding data security and protection. No biometric features or images are saved in any way, nor are they associated with your VEEV profile, and no identification/authentication is performed.
